There are almost 170 orchids, bromeliads and ferns on display at the winter show at Laurieton United Services Club over the weekend.
Camden Haven Orchid Society president Lloyd Edwards said they were very happy with the quality of the plants and the number of people through the doors.
“I think orchids have an aura of beauty and difference,” he said.
“The orchid family is the largest plant family on the planet.”
The June 9 potting demonstration attracted a crowd.
Another potting demonstration will take place at 10.30am on June 10.
Six judges, appointed by the Australian Orchid Council, New South Wales division, judged the plants.
The grand champion orchid is an exotic dendrobium owned by Nick and Jan Coe from South West Rocks.
The winter show continues on June 10 from 9.30am to 3pm at Laurieton United Services Club.
Entry is by donation to help raise funds for the local bush fire brigade.
