It was reported in the Courier that in June,1998 students and teachers from North Haven Public School went back to the 1930s with lessons and dress-ups during a three day lesson about the Royal Flying Doctor Service and the School of the Air.
Practical demonstrations on magnetic fields, and the science behind the early days of radio and School of the Air, delighted both students and parents.
Activities culminated with a special presentation of a family heirloom to Nathaniel Smith on his eighth birthday.
