Rock Solid Kids’ Holiday Club attracts large crowd

There was something to please every child at the Rock Solid holiday club, with a variety of activities on offer over the three day program.

The club kicked off on Monday, July 9 and ran until Wednesday, July 11 at the Camden Haven Anglican Church.

The club was for children from kindergarten to year 6.

In 2018 the theme was The Ultimate Team. Children joined in Olympic style games, movement activities, puppets, craft and were entertained by skits.

There was yummy food to eat for morning tea, cool music to listen to and three jumping castles.

Reverend Nathan Killick said there was a great turnout over the three days, with over 100 children attending each day.

There were about 30 volunteers who helped out to ensure the program ran smoothly.

There was a free barbecue lunch on Wednesday, July 11 for parents and carers.

What else is making news?
