The group will be in charge of running a fundraising Father’s Day stall outside the Lake Cathie shopping centre.
The event is on Friday, August 31 between 8am and 2pm.
“There will be lots of enticing food for sale, some crafts appropriate for dad, and a raffle that we are sure every father would love to win,” president Delma Robson said.
The Camden Haven community is invited to attend the CWA Bonny Hills morning tea in September to help raise funds for the Hastings Cancer Trust.
The event called ‘Not Just Tea and Scones’ is on September 12 from 9.30am until 12pm at the Bonny Hills Community Hall. Entry is by a $5 donation.
The CWA Bonny Hills has continued to grow after 16 years of operation.
Del said in 2018 the branch had several new additions to their membership.
Group members catch up each week at the craft and friendship mornings on Wednesdays between 9.30am and midday.
“Our craft mornings attract quite a large group of ladies each week and they work on a wide variety of activities,” Del said.
“Commonly there are ladies knitting, crocheting, beading, making toll pictures or paper quilling.
”There are some who just come along for their weekly dose of laughter or to socialise.”
Del said earlier in the year members entered Mid North Coast competitions in cooking and handcrafts with some successes.
“I’m sure there will be quite a few entries in the Camden Haven Show later this year,” she said.
“Our branch will again sponsor a few sections in the cooking and handcrafts competitions at the show.”
Monthly meetings are on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 1pm.
