Crime has a significant impact on our community, which is why supporting projects that improve safety and reduce anti-social behaviour and re-offending is a great investment. Local residents understand local crime problems.
I urge local businesses and community groups to get together to develop creative strategies that will address the specific crime issues impacting their suburbs and towns. To enjoy our neighbourhoods we need to feel safe.
The NSW government is proud to support local projects to help people feel safe and proud of their community because together we can make a difference to reduce crime and the fear of crime.
Applications are open until 5pm, Friday, August 10. For more, go to crimeprevention.nsw.gov.au
