All money raised from the event are used to help with training and offset costs involved in the purchase of equipment for the Camden Haven Surf Life Saving Club.
Vice president Ben Hosick said the funds raised were important for ongoing training.
"Our volunteers keep the beaches safe for residents and visitors," he said.
Funds raised will also go towards Cystic Fibrosis research.
As in previous years, the event will also raise money for Cystic Fibrosis research."
