Players from as far as Forster in the south to Tweed Heeds in the north contested the event.
Paige came from behind to win the final 6-4 against Nambucca Heads’ Sienna Anderson.
“It feels great,” Paige said after the win.
“I came back from 4-2 down. I changed my game and got back into the match.”
At the open ceremony before the event Paige was awarded Lower North Coast Champion.
Paige finished in first place after competing in eight Junior Development Tournaments since February.
Her sister Abbie Hudson in the eight-years-old girls event was also awarded Lower North Coast Champion.
Abbie also played well in Grafton and made the semi finals.
Both the girls will head to the Northern NSW Champion and Champions event at Inverell at the end of the month.
Club president Wendy Hudson said Paige had trained extremely hard this year and it had paid off for her.
“Recognition must go to our club coach Gary Harty as we have seen an enormous improvement in all our juniors,” she said.
“Paige is only the second club junior to win this prestigious event.”
Paige’s coach Gary Harty said Paige has been training especially hard over the past year, with two sessions a week.
He said Paige has a lot of potential and believes she will continue to perform well at the upcoming Northern NSW Champion and Champions event at Inverell.
