The Todd Woodbridge Cup for primary schools was hosted by the Kendall Tennis Club on Friday, August 31.

Local primary schools were invited to enter teams from years 3 and 4 to play in a red ball hot shots competition, on mini courts with modified equipment.
Over 70 children participated in the event and played matches on the new purposely built hot shot courts.
Sixteen mini courts were set up across the club’s new centre to cater for students on the day.
Kendall Public School students played St Joseph’s Primary School Laurieton in the final.
At the end of the event the scores were locked with both schools racking up 78 points. They were declared joint winners.
Out of the 16 children that were in the final, 14 play in the Kendall Tennis Club’s Friday afternoon competition.
St Joseph’s Primary School Kempsey placed third.
It was the first time students from Comboyne Public School participated in the tournament.
The top three schools made it through the the regional finals in Kempsey on Tuesday, September 4.
