Over $3000 was raised at a farmer appeal event hosted by Club North Haven.
Proceeds from the meat raffle, member donations and the first 100 drinks sold were donated to the farmers.
Staff coordinated their outfits to coincide with the event, by donning cowboy hats and flannelettes.
North Haven Men’s Bowling Club also donated $1870 to the cause. The money was raised by members over a number of weeks and was presented by their newly elected president Ted Brain.
Community members have also dropped off non perishable goods at Club North Haven’s reception.
The goods will be sent on to the farming community.
Club North Haven assistant manager Shane Globits said the club thanked its members and the bowling club for ongoing support.
In total $5000 has been raised by the club’s members and the bowling club.
