The team played Wauchope Hockey Club at the Port Macquarie Hockey Complex and notched up an end score of 3-1.
The Camden Haven Hockey Club goal scorers were Luke Bullus, Luke Merrill and Adam Rhook.
Club spokesperson Terry Rhook said five junior players Adam Rhook, Luke Merrill, Jaidyn Rossiter, Jack Redfern and Bailey Marshall joined the team on grand final day.
“Without these young juniors coming through we would have struggled,” he said.
Adam Rhook and Luke Merrill (both goal scorers) were recently selected in the NSW U15's State Squad.
Jack Redfern and Jaidyn Rossiter also made rep honours and represented Port Macquarie-Hastings Hockey Association in Parkes.
Junior players Jack Redfern and Jaidyn Rossiter also won their U16's grand final against Thunder.
“Even though they would have been fatigued, they backed up and played like champions,” Terry said.
‘Red Bull’ Rob Walker was a stand out player in goals.
“He had a cracking good game and made some crucial saves at key times of the game,” Terry said.
Camden Haven Hockey Club also had another U16's team which narrowly missed out on a grand final appearance after a 1-1 all draw in the major semi final.
