Or will there be an understanding of the plight of the patients who have come to the end of their lives and are in a ‘living hell’ that only death with dignity can put an end to?
The best investigation by the politicians is to go and do the nursing themselves, and find out how difficult it is to manage people whose minds have gone and are waiting for a compassionate end to it all.
Then there are those who are suffering never-ending pain and are drugged to ease their suffering. This is not a solution, it’s only a band-aid. The truth of their plight must be faced and euthanasia introduced.
