Kendall Tennis Club president Wendy Hudson said the club was honored to have several dignitaries assist with the opening.
The event was attended by the chief executive of Tennis NSW Lawrence Robertson and the president of Tennis NSW Wayne Pascoe from Sydney.
Wendy said the presence of Tennis NSW representatives demonstrated the high level of tennis which is available in Kendall.
The Local Member for Port Macquarie Leslie Williams and Port Macquarie-Hastings Council mayor Peta Pinson were also present.
The project was made possible with a $198,000 grant from the NSW Government along with $28,000 from Tennis NSW and $5,000 from the Holiday Coast Credit Union.
The mini courts will assist with the club’s junior development program which caters for over 100 juniors on Friday afternoons.
