A Sydney teenager whose husband was under arrest told her "Big Boo Boo" she would rather have a bullet between her eyes than turn on him, their terrorism-related trial has been told.

Alo-Bridget Namoa and Sameh Bayda, both now 21, have pleaded not guilty to conspiring to do an act in preparation for a terrorist act involving detonating an improvised explosive device, an incendiary device, or using a bladed weapon.
In the NSW Supreme Court on Monday, the jury was read three pages said to be written by Namoa, after her husband's arrest in late January 2016, which included "Allah is my legislature" and "remain strong, may Allah keep you steadfast".
Police found the unsigned letter in a black fabric bag on the kitchen bench during a search of Bayda's home in early February 2016.
The letter, headed "a msg to my big boo boo" says "you are such a gentleman with such a weird and interesting character" and "you've helped mould me into who I am today".
"If they do take me in it's only because I wouldn't jeopardise your freedom all because I wanted mine," the letter said.
"How can I side with these people against you?
"I rather a bullet between my eyes than be with them to go against you."
It continued: "If we don't meet again in this life in Shaa Allah I meet you in paradise" and "May Allah reunite us all in Jannah and may he punish the Munafiqeen!"
The letter was the last piece of evidence presented in the crown case before barristers for Namoa and Bayda told the jury they would not be calling any witnesses.
The evidence has included thousands of images, numerous graphic videos of executions and other deaths, and social media profiles showing the couple had adopted alternate names.
In his closing address, prosecutor Nicholas Robinson QC said the vast amount of material on their phones, and sent backwards and forwards between them, demonstrated they followed the "extremist Islamic position".
He contended each believed they had a "religious obligation to attack non-believers".
"If you are interested in butterflies, you look for butterflies," Mr Robinson said.
"If your phone if full of thousands of images of extremist material, it is there because that is what your interest is."
A "great bulk" of the 28,126 images and 81 videos found on Bayda's phone were related to extremist ideology and were "not there by accident".
"If you didn't support this why would you look at it?" the prosecutor asked.
The trial continues before Justice Des Fagan.
