It was a seesawing affair early with Jack Chapman and Tommy Brennan crossing for Workwear and Tyrell Scott and Jarod Thomas for Social Grounds.
However the class of Tristian Wright-Scott proved too much for Workwear as he grabbed a double on the way to a 4-2 victory.
Jacob Prince grabbed two tries and helped steer an undermanned Chocky Territory to a 5-3 win over Evolution Road Wealth.
Rupert Snyman was in form for Evolution Road scoring another double but it wasn’t quite enough in a fast and entertaining match.
Jordan Morris led the way for Adenbrook Homes in a comfortable 5-0 win over a spirited Coastal Commercial Linings.
Jett Fletcher continued his try scoring run with a hat-trick in Luke Bullus Paintings’ 8-3 win over the Port 55’s in the social competition.
While it was a Mitchell Hibbot hat-trick that helped The Bunch record a 7-2 victory against Ricardo’s Tomatoes.
It was a tryathon in the women’s social competition as Mandy McKinnon and Ashley Thomas combined for nine tries between them in El Paso Motor Inn’s decisive 10-2 win over the Socialites.
While a Fernando Chermeeka hat-trick helped guide Constables Printing to a 7-0 win over the Salty Pretzels.
This week’s matches of the round sees Chocky Territory play Coastal Commercial Linings in the battle of the youngsters in the men’s premier league.
McGrath and Watsons Caravans will fight it out in the women’s division.
