The Back to Bonny’s event saw people come together for a day of celebration by the beach. Community events like these are the perfect way to bring people together, grow community spirit and celebrate who we are, where we’ve come from and where we’re heading. On Sunday, October 28, you are is invited to Town Green to commemorate our Bicentenary at 200 Together – An Exploration through Time. There’ll be entertainment, cultural and heritage displays, food and market stalls and Aboriginal culture. Join me from 11am, and celebrate 200 together. Your say counts
Apart from the obvious things council does – build local roads, maintain parks and reserves, clean our beaches – there is so much more going on in the background. We’re asking you to have your say on the revised Smoke Free Outdoor Area Policy and the Alcohol Use on Public Reserves and Beaches Policy to keep our public spaces enjoyable for all. Whether it’s upgrading our region’s airport terminal, rejuvenating our iconic Coastal Walk, maintaining our sewer systems or updating important public policies, it all counts towards making our region one of the best places to live, learn, work, play and invest. To have your say and to provide your feedback on many community projects and policies visit haveyoursay.pmhc.nsw.gov.au
