The concert is on Sunday, November 4 from 2pm at the Kendall School of Arts and features a poetry and music salon.
Australian poet Luke Fischer will read from his latest collection of poems.
Jeanell Carrigan (piano) and Goetz Richter (violin) will be joined by the brilliant young French Horn player Andrew London to perform an afternoon of chamber music.
They will entice the audience with Johannes Brahms‘ well known Horn Trio and music by Debussy, Janacek and Korngold.
The afternoon performance will be introduced by philosopher and musician Goetz Richter with a pre- concert talk at 1pm.
His discussion on November 4 will focus on the musician as a mythical and philosophical figure.
The Kendall PhiloMusica series has attracted an enthusiastic following and proceeds from the series benefit the Kendall National Violin Competition.
