Food stalls, entertainment, community stands and plenty of fun was had with local Aboriginal dance groups sharing the region’s cultural connections.
The community day was a major event on the bicentenary calendar which has featured an array of performances, art and cultural showcases to mark the significant historic milestone.
It marks 200 years since explorer John Oxley first came to the region.
