In November 1998 A Lake Cathie man was charged with a number of break in/steal offenses.
Police conducted a search of the 37-year-old’s property at Lake Cathie and located a large amount of stolen property.
“Many of the articles found related to a series of break and enter offenses committed in the Dunbogan area,” it was reported.
“He was charged with two offenses related to break and enters and also a break and enter from Reflections Restaurant Laurieton on November 11.
“A quantity of seafood being prepared for a major function the next day was removed from the premises.”
Local police expected further charges would be laid before his court appearance.
