Mr Darley says he is dedicated to helping people who want better health.
He says once the "outer movements" or physical movements are achieved, participants will learn how to "feel" Tai Chi.
"There are 250 million people a day participating in Tai Chi. It is about relaxation and it is about being on a journey," he said.
"The energy flow is very powerful and that helps heal the body itself.
"Between 250 and 300 muscles are worked in a one hour class of Tai Chi.
"It takes time and patience too. With my teachings I can help you in ways where sometimes doctors fail in healing the body.
"I get great pleasure hearing from my students how Tai Chi has changed their life."
There are five essential Tai Chi principles: relaxtion, concentration, meditation, harmony and breathing.
Mr Darley runs classes at Lake Cathie Community Hall, Lake Cathie Bowling Club and Club North Haven.
