Camden Haven Cricket Club has scored a comprehensive victory over Port Pirates in their Hastings River District Cricket Association clash on Saturday.

The first grade clash was played at Wood Street 2 on Saturday.
Taking to the crease to bat first, Camden Haven piled on the runs, despite losing M Cheers early for just 2 runs.
Fellow opener L Gray, 50 runs, then combined for two solid partnership, firstly with E Alchin, 20, and then with top scorer L Adelt, 54.
The tail wagged somewhat for the Havens with R Grunsell 23, Z Calicetto, 16 and I Dennis 19 making good contributions.
Camden Haven ended their 40 overs with a commendable 8 for 209.
Best bowler for the Pirates was B De Braun with 2 for 21.
In their run chase, Port Pirates could only manage a meagre 73, from just 22 overs.
Chief destroyers were Calicetto with 3 for 18 and D Adelt with 3 for 22. Both enjoyed great games for the winners.
I Dennis returned 2 for 10 from just 2 overs while B Coles 1 for 6 and Z Alchin 1 for 16 also took wickets.
The win places Camden Haven in third place on the first grade competition ladder.
Camden Haven is at home at the Laurieton Oval on Saturday November 24 in its clash against Port City Leagues Magpies.
Second grade
In second grade matches played on Saturday, Bonny Hills Lake Cathie scored a solid win over Wauchope RSL at Inmon Field.
Bonny Hills Lake Cathie won the toss and elected to bat first.
J Pagotto top scored with 50 while H Padmanabha fell just two runs short of a well-deserved half century.
Opener P Murfitt held up the top end with a fine 34 runs. H Pagotto remained not out 19 with Handhi 16 also not out in their 40 overs.
The team scored a solid 5 for 211.
Wauchope's batting card was not available but they fell well short of the total.
The side totalled just 71 runs from 31 overs.
Best with the ball was open N Singh with 4 for 15 from 7 overs.
T Dumuantes 2 for 20 and S Watts 2 for 0 from a maiden over was sensational.
Murfit and Collins also took a wicket each.
Comboyne Kendall Blue won the toss and put Macquarie into bat in their clash at Kendall Reserve.
The decision proved successful with Macquarie's batsman totally 144 from 34 overs.
Top scorer was B Myers with a graet 58 with D Beasley 17, J Fressard 16 and opener L Wickets 11 the only batsmen to reach double figures.
Extras scored 27.
With the ball, C McHugh 3 for 20 was the best with J Chapman 2 for 22, J Hollins 2 for 14 multiple wicket takers. H Brien 1 for 33 and K Beauchamp 1 for 27 also taking wickets.
In its run chase, Comboyne Kendall Blue reached the necessary target after 32 overs, but lost seven wickets along the way.
Top scorer was T Beauchamp with 48, J Chapman remained 38 not out and K Beauchamp 19 were among the best.
Comboyne Kendall Orange and Camden Haven clashed at Tuffins Lane 3 in what turned out to be, a close clash.
Camden Haven won the toss and elcted to bat first. The decision proved unsuccessful with the team reaching just 91 runs in 22.2 overs.
Openers P Calicetto 22 and R Kendell 20 made good progress early but then the innings fell away with only S Weightman 20 reaching double figures.
There were no bowling figures available.
Comboyne Kendall Orange reached 5 for 92 in just 14.1 overs.
In round 8 games this Saturday, Comboyne Kendall Orange will take on Bonny Hills Lake Cathie at Kendall Reserve, while Comboyne Kendall Blue will be at Wood Street 1 against Port City Leagues Magpies. Camden Haven is hosting Port Pirates Buccaneers at Inmon Field.
The ladder after seven rounds has Comboyne Kendall Blue in second place with Comboyne Kendall Orange in fifth place, one spot above Bonny Hills Lake Cathie.
Camden Haven sits in seven place but within striking distance of the top six.
