The event has been organised by Jeremy Bate from Wauchope Bonny Hills Surf Life Saving Club and will take place at Rainbow Beach from 2pm on Sunday, December 23.
The inaugural event was in 2017, where over 30 people took part in the festivities.
Jeremy said surfing santas ‘is certainly not an original idea’ but he thought it would be fun for locals and visitors to get involved in.
“It was all just word of mouth last year,” he said.
“Everyone thought it was awesome.”
In 2017 members of the Wauchope Bonny Hills Surf Life Saving Club, Mid North Coast Girls Surfriders and local residents took part.
Jeremy said everyone is welcome to participate.
“Even if people just wear a santa hat and wetsuit, that’s fine,” he said.
Participants are invited to enjoy drinks and food at the surf club from 3pm until 7pm. There will be music and prizes for best dressed.
