From the waterfront, to the main street with North Brother Mountain ever prominent, some of these images capture a time when things were more simple while showing just how far we’ve come.
The Courier has attempted to replicate some of these photos to show just how much the piece of paradise we call home has changed.

The Camden Haven Historical Society Museum is situated in the beautiful School of Arts building at Laurieton.
The museum, which is run by local volunteers, features displays on timber-getting, fishing, marine activities, farming and more.
The focal point of the museum is the Camden Haven Valley and its villages. It is a work constantly in progress.
The Museum Society also sells a range of books on local history.
