The new club is looking for interested members who have a love of bees.
Previously, the nearest clubs were in Taree and Coffs Harbour.
The HVABA club is associated with the NSW Amateur Beekeepers Association which began back in 1954
The HVABA invites anyone who has an interest in keeping bees, or would like to learn more about bees to attend the group’s first meeting on Wednesday, January 9 from 6.30pm to 8.30pm at the Wauchope Community Arts Hall, Oxley Lane (opposite Bain Park).
A gold coin donation is required.
