Her uniform and books have been ordered, ready for her start date on January 30 for year 7.
Evie has already made some new friends during orientation day at Camden Haven High School.
“I got talking to three students from another school and they were looking to meet some new people, just like me,” she said.
Evie went to Kendall Public School and said majority of Year 6 students will go on to attend Camden Haven High School.
“Five students are going to St Joseph's Regional College and one is going to St Columba Anglican School,” she said.
While the size of Camden Haven High School can be daunting for some students, Evie said she isn’t scared about getting lost.
“I know there will be others around who I can always for help,” she said.
Evie is looking forward to attending english classes, as she enjoys writing stories.
She is also keen about dance, drama and art subjects.
In primary school Evie was recognised for her efforts in public speaking, and plans to continue in high school.
After school Evie wants to continue her education, to become either a police officer or zoo keeper.
