A spokesperson from NSW Police said emergency services were called to the incident on Ocean Drive at about 6am, following reports of a crash.
Officers from Mid North Coast Police District attended and found an injured male cyclist.
The spokesperson from NSW Police said it’s believed he was hit by a grey Subaru while riding his bicycle north on Ocean Drive.
The driver of the vehicle, a 58-year-old Bonny Hills man, was subject to a roadside breath-test which returned a negative result.
The cyclist was taken to hospital in a stable condition and was treated for injuries to both legs.
Police investigations into the incident are continuing.
