The event is on Monday, February 11 at the Kendall Services Club from 9am. Morning tea will be provided by the group’s current members.
Group spokesperson Elizabeth Watson said over the past 10 years members have enjoyed fun filled crafty learning, developed friendships and shared stories about children and grandchildren.
“Over the years we have welcomed new members to our group, as many have moved into the area and need new friends,” she said.
The group first started on February 9, 2009 at the Kendall Community Centre.
Elizabeth said members have completed many projects for themselves, as gifts and donations for the community.
Members of the group have knitted vests and jumpers for Camden Haven Pony Club members, crocheted and knitted poppy brooches for use at ANZAC Day and donated items to be included in solider packs for troops overseas.
They have also knitted and crocheted items for people in need and donated food to keep the pantry stocked at the Camden Haven Community at 3.
Members were also integral in distributing pamper pack to the women in drought areas and contributing to the food drive organised by the Camden Haven Show Society.
Elizabeth said members continue to work on their chosen projects and regularly encourage members to try new skills or complete unfinished projects.
Members enjoy craft including scrap booking, card making, crochet, knitting, embroidery, hand sewing, applique and patchwork.
