The event is on Friday, February 1 and doors open at 6.30pm for a 7pm start.
Warren has been a professional performer and stringed instrument music teacher for over 55 years.
Warren plays acoustic and electric guitars, baritone ukulele, four string banjo, bass guitar and autoharp.
His experience is as an entertainer, band member and solo performer on a variety stages in Australia and overseas.
Warren is a left handed player and has definite views on acceptance of this condition in the musical community.
Warren enjoys performing songs with positive stories, including songs about the human condition, no matter what the style.
For three years in the 1970s Warren was the featured performer on children programmes for the ABC Radio Education Branch, The 2MD Good Health Radio Show and television’s Super Flying Fun Show.
Whether as a performer, a backing musician, or tutor Warren Targett is a welcome addition to any musical event line up.
Entry to the event on February 1 is by donation. The first half of the evening is open mic, before Warren Targett performs after supper.
