The Chamber is very pleased to have received feedback from Camden Haven business owners on a bumper holiday season.
For many of our local small businesses, this time of the year is vital in preparing for the year ahead.
We are excited about 2019 with more digital marketing workshops planned for March and additional events, aimed at empowering business owners, will be offered throughout the year.
In 2019, chamber will continue to investigate ideas, and consult with Port Macquarie-Hastings Council, regarding the beautification of Laurieton’s main street, the community plan, and how to represent our community spirit.
We are particularly excited to be connecting and exploring opportunities with Port Macquarie and Wauchope chambers through a series of meetings facilitated by the NSW Business Chamber.
The chamber acknowledges comments made by members of the community about the lack of Christmas spirit in Bold Street, Laurieton, in the lead up to Christmas.
We have tabled this for discussion at the committee’s meeting in February.
Be sure to save the date for the 2019 Slice of Haven which will be on Sunday, May 26, from 10am until 4pm, on the scenic riverbank behind the Laurieton United Services Club.
The focus of your Chamber of Commerce is clear, we want to provide opportunities for local businesses to improve their products and services while, at the same time, giving back to the community by supporting local events and infrastructure projects.
We invite all business owners in the Camden Haven to join us, we need your input and engagement. The chamber meets on the second Wednesday of each month and will be submitting a report to the Camden Haven Courier on a regular basis following these meetings.
