I acknowledge that some individual days would appear outside these parameters. Normally such occurrences are referred to as ‘deviations from the mean’ but in no way detract from the overall statistical conclusions. It would be interesting to be around in, say, 50 years to talk to our great grandchildren to see which argument, yours or mine, they agree with.
Regarding your reference to God, if he did create the earth, is it not feasible to suppose that he meant for coal to remain in the ground where it was placed, rather than be burnt creating atmospheric pollution?
