Mark has grown up in the Camden Haven area and has been delivering mail to residents for the past 37 years. Michelle has been a postie for the past 35 years, and has spent the last 19 years working in the area.
While posties used to deliver predominantly letters, these days Michelle and Mark deliver a lot of parcels.
They said people do still get excited to receive a letter, especially residents who are receiving a special certificate from the Queen to acknowledge their wedding anniversaries.
Michelle and Mark used to ride push bikes, before the motorcycles came into action.
Unfortunately aggressive dogs continue to target them when they are delivering mail to a property.
Mark had to take time off work after a dog ran out in front of his motorcycle in July last year.
He broke his wrist and couldn't perform his job for three and a half months.
Michelle has also had her fair share of run-ins with dogs and has been bitten before.
Both posties urge residents to keep their dogs restrained.
The early 5am starts do not worry Michelle and Mark.
"The key is to get out of bed as soon as your alarm goes off," Mark said.
"Never turn it off."
Both Michelle and Mark enjoy being outdoors as part of their job and have become well-known around the community.
They enjoy the one on one contact with people and receive feedback directly from them.
