Tye conquered Mount Kosciuszko with other team members from New South Wales.
Coles Laurieton raised almost $1800, with $700 through the gofundme page. The funds will go to the not-for-profit organisation RU OK?
Coles team member Therese Laverty from Newcastle organised the event. Therese’s father took his own life in 1994 and she has also lost three close friends to suicide.
Tye said everyone has been impacted by the death of a person through suicide.
Therese Laverty said it was over 21km to the top of the summit, with over 31,000 steps.
The whole team helped to raise $20,200 for the cause and Theresa thanked everyone for their generous donations.
