Phil Dykes Automotive has opened its doors, and is ready to welcome customers new and old.

This is the second time around Phil and Kylie Dykes have owned a business. 

Previously, they owned Riverview Service Centre for 28 years with Phil's brother Keith and his wife Bronwyn.

The couple sold Riverview in 2013 and Phil continued to work there as workshop manager.

When the opportunity came to purchase a business, Kylie had some wise words of advice for her husband.

"Kylie said to me, you have two choices, retire or buy," says Phil. "Retirement was not an option for me, so it was back into business."

"For all of our customers in the Camden Haven, Bonny Hills, Lake Cathie and all areas in between, we offer a pickup and delivery service so they won’t be inconvenienced.

"We also have an air-conditioned waiting room with television, tea or coffee and friendly office staff who are always happy to have a chat.

"Please come to the office and talk to Suze and Karyn about your appointment needs so that our boys can concentrate on your mechanical needs and have your vehicle back to you as soon as possible."

Phil would like to thank all his customers over the past 39 years for their support, friendship and encouragement to take on this new chapter.
