The trip is only possible due to the generosity of the Camden Haven and wider Port Macquarie-Hastings community, says her mum Skye.
With the ear surgery costing $55,000 per ear, a total of $40,837.78 has been raised through various fundraising efforts.
Those funds have now been transferred to the Californian Ear Institution in Palo Alto.
The family leaves on April 19 and the surgery is on April 23.
Sky was almost lost for words in saying thank you.
"Thank you just doesn't seem enough anymore," she admitted.
"There is no way that this surgery would even be happening without the support of the community," she said.
"This is such a commitment from the community and everyone is fully behind the second round of fundraising that is continuing to happen.
"Those funds will cover Willow's second surgery was is set down for October 1."
And while the community rallies around the family, Willow is "oblivious" to it all.
"I don't think she will have a clue until she goes into the surgery," Skye said.
"We keep telling her she is getting new ears but sometimes she says no. She's never been on a plane before and will also have to cope with the six week recovery time too.
"We don't return until May 30 and then it will all start again so we can get her surgery on her other ear."
Skye said the extensive recovery time was due to the skin grafts required for the operation.
But the family has admitted to be feeling "very excited" about the trip and what it means for little Willow.
Further fundraising events are planned while there is still a gofundme page operating.
"It would not have been possible without all the amazing help we have received from the community and we hope this will change Willow's life forever."
