Skies across the Camden Haven are filled with smoke tonight as the Forestry Corporation of NSW are undertaking a hazard reduction burn.
The burn, which started around lunch time on April 11, is taking place in the Lorne State Forest but Stuart Robb from the RFS said there is nothing to worry about.
"We are out of the fire danger period and are conducting a harzard reduction burn near Kendall before the weather turns too cold," Mr Robb said.
"This is in preparation for next summer and off the back of a very dry summer this year.
"There is no danger to people or property and officials are on the scene to manage the fire burning."
