After an incredibly successful ball in 2016, the Beach to Beach committee are back at it again creating a night to remember.
The 2019 theme is celebrity and organisers are encouraging people to come as their favourite celebrity whether a sporting hero, A-list celebrity, musician or personal hero.
Organising committee member Annette Mitchell said people should come along and support the great work of the Beach to Beach project.
"We are holding our second ball and we are looking forward to another great night," Mrs Mitchell said.
"The theme is celebrity we are hoping lots of people support us and come dressed up like they did last time."
The Beach to Beach Riverwalk project will eventually see 11km of pathway/cycleway built from Dunbogan to North Haven, taking in the breath-taking vistas of the Camden Haven River foreshore.
The pathway will not only provide a picturesque walkway for people of all ages to keep fit, it means those with mobility issues will be able to access the great outdoors more easily. It's a project which will unite the community and bring visitors to the area.
At the ball people can purchase tables of 10 or individual tickets and make new friends on the night, Mrs Mitchell said.
"We had lots of community support the first time around and are hoping people are ready to support this project again," she said.
"This year we are going fully sustainable purchasing recyclable decorations and not using any single use plastics.
"This is in an effort to help the environment which is another reason the Beach to Beach project got started in the first place.
"We would also be grateful if anyone would like to donate any raffle prizes to get in touch with me to make it a great night."
Tickets are $60 per person and include a two course meal and drink on arrival.
The Beach to Beach Ball will be on June 15 at the Laurieton United Services Club. To purchase tickets contact the club directly and to donate raffle prizes contact Mrs Mitchell on 0400 776 432.
