The residents were treated to homemade woodfired pizzas. They were delivered direct from the oven, which Laurieton Men's Shed members purposely built two years ago.
Members of the Men's Shed decorated the lunch table with special flowers and ornaments.
Resident Betty Drury gave the Men's Shed members a gift to say thank you on behalf of the aged care centre.
Residents and staff were also given a tour of the Men's Shed, with Richard Curry providing information about why the group is so beneficial for members' health.
Laurieton Men's Shed members are planning to host a group of men from Laurieton Lakeside Aged Care Residence for a Father's Day pizza cook-up later in the year.
