Helen and her husband Stuart, along with Richard Trood received their 15 years of service certificates at the branch's morning tea on Thursday, May 23.
The event coincided with National Volunteer Week (NVW), the annual celebration to acknowledge the generous contribution of the nation's volunteers.
Fifteen years ago Helen and Stuart retired and moved to the area. After six months they decided they needed to help other people in the community.
Stuart said it's amazing to get the opportunity to meet all kinds of people with interesting stories.
The couple deliver meals to a Vietnam veteran who maintains a positive mindset, despite being riddled with cancer.
Richard said the job has really 'woken him up' to the number of elderly people who live on their own in the area.
For some people the contact with the volunteers is their main source of interaction.
Senior branch service officer Kristine Fallon said some volunteers have been working at the branch for over 35 years.
She said the branch was lucky to have such dedicated and committed volunteers.
