Camden Haven Orchid Society president Don Kuchel was ecstatic with the response to the two-day winter show was ended on Sunday, June 9.

Mr Kuchel said he was particularly happy with the response to the sale table which was virtually sold out before the doors opened for the final day of the event.
He was also pleased with the feedback from people attending the show.
"Lots of people were praising the quality of the exhibits and the blooms on display," he said.
"It's been terrific.
"We received entries from far and wide including Wauchope, Taree and South West Rocks.
"From the society's viewpoint, we were also able to talk with several people interested in becoming members too."
He said that was another pointer to how successful the show had been.
The major prize winners for the show were:
Grand champion of the show and champion Dendrobium hybrid - owner M and J Coe, with Den Bobby White X Burana White.
Reserve champion and champion Oncidium hybrid - owner M and M Graham with Oncidium Sharry Baby Misaka.
Champion species orchid and champion specimen orchid - owner D Apps with Paphiopedilum insigne.
Champion novice orchid - owner D Everingham with Hardcane Dendrobium unknown.
Champion laaelia alliance hybrid - owner A Young with Epidendrum Topaz Special 'Elgante'.
Champion Cypripedioideae hybrid - owner M Myers with Paphipedilum Bel Royal x Neeri Gold 'Robert'.
Champion any other hybrid - owner W Stephensen with ASCA Bicentennial Carmela.
Champion first flowering seedling - owner D Kuchel with Paphiopedilum Maudiae.
Champion foliage plant - owner A Young with Neoreglia Charm.
