On May 9 Camden Haven Chamber co-hosted a visual merchandising workshop at the Laurieton United Services Club, which was made possible and free to attend, thanks to the NSW Small Business Commissioner and Port Macquarie Hastings Council. Visual merchandising expert Carol Bagaric of Retail Revamp presented a two-hour workshop to twenty enthusiastic retailers. Carol shared key tips for improving sales by strategically placing and rotating stock in time and cost-effective ways. The workshop included discussion and ideas around creative and effective window displays, "hot zones" and stock display.
Eight of the attendees registered for a free half-hour onsite consult with Carol. Feedback from the event was very positive and we hope to get Carol back to the Camden Haven again soon.
