The day will be focused on innovation and the Mid North Coast Local Health District (MNCLHD) said they are excited to be continuing to support the health and wellbeing of young people.

MNCLHD chief executive Stewart Dowrick said the Local Health District was very proud to be the presenting partner for Luminosity, and to support future leaders from the Mid North Coast and beyond.

"Through our partnership with Luminosity, which has included putting forward inspiring health-related speakers, we hope to encourage young people towards a career in the growing health sector," Mr Dowrick said.

"We were fortunate to have Dr Karl Kruszelnicki speak at one of our events, and we are very excited to be playing a part in bringing Dr Karl back to the Mid North Coast to present to our young people."

Luminosity brings together an array of inspiring speakers and high-profile guests to encourage young leaders across the country to explore dangerous ideas for success, igniting creativity, excellence and entrepreneurship.

Other keynote speakers across the three-day Summit include Rhiannon Tracey a quadriplegic that is inspiring other young people to push past any boundaries, Trent Maxwell 'Lifeguard Maxi' from Bondi Rescue, magician and escapologist Cosentino and Kimberly Benjamin an Indigenous documentary writer and director.

Luminosity Youth Summit Organising Committee Chair Kate Wood-Foye said the Summit was lucky to have fantastic support from local businesses and organisations.

"We are very grateful for the ongoing support of the Mid North Coast Local Health District," Ms Wood-Foye said.

"Health affects all of us, and with the support of the local health district we have been able to provide our young guns with some wonderful examples of successful young people and through leaders in the health sector.

"Whether it be doctors, paramedics or allied health professionals, many of our Luminosity speakers presented by the local health district have really connected with our young guns."
