The PMTC invites the community to come along to the upcoming duathlon series with the first race on Sunday June 30.
The races will be held at McInherney Park, with a pre-race registration from 6.45 -7.15am followed by a race start at 7.30am.
Designed to encourage new and past returning club members to get involved in the upcoming triathlon season, the series of three races is a great way to keep fit during these winter months, without the swim component for a run-ride-run format.
Suitable for all run and ride abilities, with all bikes from road-bikes to mountain bikes welcome, it's all about just getting out there giving it a go.
Club member volunteers will be out on the course on race day to marshall and give directions for those unfamiliar with the course.
And there is always a pre race briefing to give all the details of race format and answer any questions from newcomers.
Cost for non members is $10 each race paid on race day.
Participation in all three races is rewarded with an exclusive complimentary duathlon race shirt.
The dates of the duathlon races are June 30, July 28 and August 25.
