A number of North Haven businesses have rallied behind the cause and hope to raise $1000, with the community's support.
All money raised will go to the Children's Medical Research Institute to help find treatments and cures for children's genetic diseases.
Jeans 4 Genes Day is on Friday, August 2.
People can donate in person at a participating business through their donation box.
