NSW Local Land Services is holding a meeting of concerned land managers in the Byabarra, Comboyne, Mount Seaview and Long Flat areas.
On the agenda will be the effects of wild dogs, foxes and feral cats, methods of controlling these pests as well as best practice, and timing and monitoring the predators.
Wild dog activity increases in the autumn and winter, as the animals seek breeding partners, and establish territories which can be defended aggressively.
North Coast Local Land Services asks landholders affected by wild dog attacks to report them to local Biosecurity staff.
The meeting is at Byabarra community hall on Wednesday July 24 at 5.30pm.
