The view was amazing and the discussion was engaging. Our general meetings are a great way for the Chamber to hear from local businesses and community groups about their successes and challenges.
It is with this formal input that the Chamber has been able to create its strategic direction, its immediate actions and long-term vision.
Big news this year is the Chamber's actions in revitalising the main street of Laurieton. This is our key deliverable for 2019. We are currently working with key stakeholders to clean the street and create a vibrant Christmas atmosphere that locals and tourists will be proud to be part of.
Watch this space as the Camden Haven Chamber celebrates its 30th Anniversary by 'Cleaning the Slate' and 'Lighting up Laurieton'.
We are looking forward to delivering a Google Analytics Workshop on July 31. We have professional development courses organised for nearly every month until the end of the year.
Also discussed at the general meeting, Camden Haven King of the Mountain 2019 will be held on Sunday, August 18 organised by the Camden Haven SLSC.
Camden Haven SLSC is an amazing community partner that provides an essential service to locals and visitors alike. Let's show our support for this fantastic event. Why not register your workplace in the event?
If you are interested in to learn more about the activities and actions that the Chamber is embarking on, I encourage you to check out our new website.
Here you will find information about our strategic plan, our values, our team, our sub-committees, upcoming events and news.
People who are looking to contribute to the local community are encouraged to contact the Chamber for introductions to local community groups or roles within the chamber.
