The North Haven resident was taken out for her favourite meal of Chinese food in Laurieton by her family members.
Hazel still lives independently at her house at North Haven, where she moved in 1967. She has spent her whole life in the Camden Haven.
Hazel's daughter Fae said her mother is still as sharp as a tack and believes she's got a few more years to go yet.
Hazel married her husband Laurie Gill on February 7, 1940 at Stewarts River. They lived in Lorne, before moving to Kendall and eventually settling in North Haven.
Hazel and Laurie have four children Ken, Fae, Graeme and Wayne.
Hazel said her fondest memories are from her wedding day and watching her children grow up.
She was active in the lives of her grandchildren and would attend their school music performances and eistedfods.
Nearly 100 people attended a party for Hazel's 100th birthday on July 21 at Club North Haven in 2018.
