Kew Country Club hosted the event, where a shotgun start commenced the four person ambrose competition from 7.30am.
Ian Barbato suddenly passed away in 2004.
Ian loved to combine a good yarn with an adventure on the golf course. In his honour many of his friends and family gather at Kew for the event.
Golfers tested out their skills on the green, focusing on putting straight into the hole and making sure their swings connected for great play.
The event helped to raise over $3,200 for the Kendall Riding for the Disabled Association.
