Whether you are looking at a weekend away or a three- to 12-month escape, you must enjoy the journey. At the Mid North Coast Outdoor Show to be held at the Wauchope Showground on August 9, 10 and 11, 2019, you will find everything to enable you to rest easy.
It's the largest show in the region and it's celebrating its 20th birthday this year. There is a large range of caravans, plus camper trailers, roof top tents and slide on campers, which are all becoming increasingly popular, as they are ideal for young families, couples and active retirees seeking adventure.
"The Outdoor Show offers a huge range of caravanning, camping and 4WD accessories, so you can find what you require," said a spokesman.
"Everything from the essential items through to the unique and latest gadgets and appliances are on display. Every year exhibitors endeavour to showcase products that make travelling more comfortable, convenient and hassle free."
One of the latest products on display and being demonstrated over the weekend is Flat Out International. An Australian family company designed and brought to the market the Flat Out reel and hose system, making travelling life a whole lot easier.
On entry to the Mid North Coast Outdoor Show you will receive an entry ticket. Fill out the few details and place in the entry box at the Midcoast 4WD Centre site, who along with Ironman 4x4, have $5,000 worth of 4WD product that some lucky visitor will win just by attending the Show.
The Mid North Coast Outdoor Show also offers plenty of free entertainment for the young and the young at heart. The Australian Travelling Fishing Show with their 14,000 litre fish tank conducting fish lure demonstrations. "Cookie" tries to teach us to go catching instead of fishing.
Meanwhile Allan from Reptile Awareness endeavours to impress on us not to catch anything, but gives great advice on what to do and what not to do, when you happen to meet up with some of Australia's reptile collection. Allan has one of the best first aid kits that all travellers should carry.
Flair Action Sports Bike Riders will be doing their amazing stunts with the occasional mishap thrown in on Saturday and Sunday.
With 175 exhibitors plus the entertainment, it may be too much to take in and do in one day, however you can purchase a return ticket for just $10 from the site office or the entry/exit gates.
