The championships were on Sunday, August 11 and four students attended.
Steven Lee and his son Hudson Lee with Adam Patrzala have qualified for the state competition.
Steven said it will give them the opportunity to qualify for the National Titles, which are being held at Port Macquarie in November.
"Usually one has to travel the countryside to attend the nationals but this year it's in our backyard," he said.
Steven Lee achieved first place in Traditional Weapons and second in Traditional Forms.
Hudson Lee gained first place in Sumo and Adam Patrzala came third in the Sumo event.
Lachlan McNeice attended his very first tournament and gained some valuable competitive experience.
Steven thanked Sensei John Carlyle 6th Dan Renshi, who instructed and prepared the students for the tournament.
