The Old Skool Family Day has been organised by members of the Laurieton Vintage Motor Club. The event is on Sunday, September 1 from 10am until 3pm at the Laurieton United Services Club.
Deb Campbell is a member of the Camden Haven Dragonboat Club's Can Survive group.
"I was very healthy, as I was going to the gym three or four times a week and also walking," she said.
Deb said the Can Survive group raises money for people in the local community, who have cancer and need support.
"It's to let them know that we care," she said.
Previously the group has raised money for the education of a young mother's children, given a petrol voucher to a couple and delivered hampers.
Organiser Ralph Dixon said the event coincides with Father's Day and will be a fantastic family day out to help raise money for a great cause.
There will be raffles, show n shine, live music with Emma Dykes, face painting, jumping castle, food and drinks available.
Ralph said at the previous event there were over 50 vehicles displayed.
This year there will be a range of vehicles on display, including a motorcycle from the 1920s era.
Entry to the event is by donation for the Can Survive group.
If you are interested in displaying your vehicle or would like to join the Laurieton Vintage Motor Club, please call Ralph Dixon on 0401 170 537.
The club was founded in 2016 by a group of five motoring enthusiasts.
