"We have been involved in the art business for over 30 years, mainly as artists exhibiting in Australia and overseas.
"The option to move into the gallery side was unexpected, but gives us the opportunity to showcase a range of artwork.
"Everybody we have spoken to has supported the initiative to provide an outlet for the display of fine art in the Camden Haven area.
"We have both always had a passion for art and have been practising artists since our teens.
"It is not difficult to have a love for the product when it has been a major influence for the majority of your life.
"We are just beginning this new and exciting venture. Our current focus is on getting the message out to come and enjoy the art and photography.
"We have had a few beautiful pieces sold already, and as the days progress interest is growing.
"We will be looking at a range of activities at the gallery with specific exhibitions and a changing display of artworks.
"The canvas is still blank in this respect as the longer-term plans unfurl.
"The future is exciting and we look forward to watching the growth in Kew and surrounds."
